Our Campaign’s Top Issues

Clarksville is growing fast, and with that growth comes both opportunity and responsibility. The priorities on this page reflect what I hear every day from neighbors, educators, small-business owners, and families across our city. These aren’t abstract policy ideas; they’re the real challenges people are facing and the solutions we can put in place

  • Smarter Growth + Infrastructure

  • Accessible, Transparent Local Government

  • Walkable, Affordable Neighborhoods
  • Building a More Vibrant Downtown
  • Partnerships with Our Schools

Smarter Growth + Infrastructure

Clarksville is growing whether we plan for it or not, and right now, we’re seeing the consequences of growth that’s outrunning the roads, schools, and public services people rely on every day. Smarter growth isn’t about stopping development; it’s about making sure it happens in a way that actually works for the families who live here.

Accessible, Transparent Local Government

Clarksville works best when every voice can be heard, not just the loudest or the most connected. My goal is to build a city government that listens first, communicates honestly, and treats every resident with respect — because that’s how we move forward together.

Walkable, Affordable Neighborhoods

Great cities are built around people, not just cars.

As Clarksville grows, we have a responsibility to make sure growth works for everyone. That means neighborhoods where people can afford to live, get around safely, and feel connected to their community.

Building a More Vibrant Downtown

Downtown should be the heart of our city.

It’s where people gather, small businesses take root, culture shows up, and Clarksville tells its story. As our city grows, we have an opportunity to build a downtown that reflects who we are and invites everyone in.

Partnerships with Our Schools

Strong schools and strong cities go hand in hand.

Clarksville-Montgomery County public schools are one of our greatest assets. They shape our future workforce, support families, and anchor neighborhoods across the city. While schools are operated by the county and the school system, the city still has an important role to play as a partner and advocate.
